The Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoLT) 2025 conference theme is, “Empowering education through confidence and change.” The SoLT conference is designed as a platform for vocational and higher education engagement where educators, researchers, policymakers and industry leaders can exchange ideas, share best practices and discuss the latest educational trends.
Vocational and higher education institutions alike, have a responsibility to prepare students well for their careers ahead. Vocation and higher education educators bring a wealth of experience to the classroom and play a critical role in better harmonising the integration of vocational to higher education. Tertiary education institutions also have a crucial role in fostering inclusive, equitable and prosperous societies.

Registrations
The conference will commence with an opening keynote presentation by Dr. Nicole Reinke from University of Sunshine Coast. The conference program includes an array of workshops and presentations related to the scholarship of teaching and learning. The day will conclude with a poster session and a closing keynote presentation by Dr. Alice Brown, University of Southern Queensland.
The full conference program will be released closer to the event. However, all attendees will have the opportunity to create a personalised schedule based on their preferred workshops and concurrent sessions.
All tickets include coffee and tea on arrival, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.

The SoLT conference will held at the TAFE Queensland South Bank Campus.
